Eleanor Hodson House Care Home is a warm inviting and homely care home, located in a quiet residential area in Newport, and provides nursing and personal care and accommodation for older service users who have a dementia or who suffer from mental infirmity 

The home has 32 rooms with access to bathroom and toilet facilities. 

The home is staffed 24 hours a day with qualified registered nurses and care assistants. All staff are experienced and well trained in the care of the elderly. 

Each resident has a personal care plan which ensures that full attention is given to individual physical, emotional and social needs ensuring that dignity, privacy and firmly held beliefs are considered. 

Within the home we have a well equipped professional kitchen with highly qualified catering staff. The home operates on a full board basis and special dietary requirements are provided for. 

The home also provides a laundry, a team of domestic assistants and a maintenance department. An in house hairdressing service is also available. 

Eleanor Hodson House Nursing Home is registered with and subjected to periodic inspections by the care standard inspectorate for Wales.
